La Fam Amsterdam: La Fam is a unisex streetwear label from Amsterdam, founded by siblings Anna and Renze van Jaarsveld. Its signatures are stripes, plenty of colour and Rico, the brand's mascot.
More family than brand
The name is short for La Familia. During their school years, Anna and Renze lacked a creative outlet, so they turned their bond as brother and sister into a shared project. La Fam is shaped by hip-hop and youth culture. The brand includes events, collaborations with artists and its own blog, and several pieces carry the motto »We start and end with the Fam«.
Rico, stripes and the Varsity Jacket
With us you'll find striped longsleeves, the Striped Knit Zip Up Hoodie and the Diamond Zip Hoodie, whose chest logo is set with small rhinestones. There's also the Varsity Jacket, one of the brand's best-known pieces. Named after Rico are the Rico of Eden Football Jersey, styled like classic football shirts, and the Rico Bracelet.
