New Amsterdam Surf Association
New Amsterdam Surf Association: The New Amsterdam Surf Association is a label from Amsterdam that shows surfing the way it looks in the Netherlands: murky water, cold, plenty of wind and industry on the horizon. It was founded in 2018 by windsurfer and graphic designer Paul Zeper.
Between the city and the North Sea
As a professional windsurfer, Zeper couldn't find any clothing that fit his life in Amsterdam and surfing in Wijk aan Zee, one of the most industrial surf spots in the world. So he made it himself. The brand stands for a new generation of surfers who spend more time in the city than on the beach and will happily hop on the tram for a few waves.
The oyster in the logo
The logo is an oyster, and the brand gives several reasons for it: cuts from oyster shells while surfing, the salt water and the touch of luxury that oysters and pearls represent. The name explains itself word by word too: New for a new generation, Amsterdam for the city, Surf for the sport and the attitude, Association for the community behind it.

What is the New Amsterdam Surf Association?
The New Amsterdam Surf Association is a label from Amsterdam, founded in 2018 by Paul Zeper. It translates the rough surfing on the Dutch North Sea coast into clothing for the city, and its signature is the oyster in the logo.
