Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4
Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4: The Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4, often simply called the Saucony Triumph 4, comes straight from Saucony's 2007 running shoe catalogue. It has been back in the Originals line since Fall/Winter 2022, with the same details and the same technology as back then.
Origin
In 2007, the Triumph 4 was a running shoe for many kilometers, with a supportive fit and soft cushioning. At Saucony, the Triumph name still carries a running shoe series to this day. The ProGrid Triumph 4, by contrast, is the everyday reissue, like the other Saucony sneakers in the Originals line.
Technology and look
The segmented midsole features ProGrid, Saucony's cushioning system of the time. On the inner side sits a panel with Arch-Lock that holds the midfoot in place. The many overlaid layers on the upper give it the typical 2000s look. If you're looking more for a model from Saucony's Guide stability series, the ProGrid Guide 7 is the alternative.
The Triumph 4 at a glance
