PUMA
Puma: Puma is the sports brand with the Formstrip, and for us it stands above all for flat classics with history. On top of that come collaborations through which Puma brings music and motorsport into streetwear.
The history of the brand
Rudolf Dassler founded Puma in 1948 in Herzogenaurach, after splitting from his brother Adolf. The brand made a name for itself early on with football boots. In 1958 Puma patented the Formstrip: the curved stripe was meant to stabilise the foot inside the shoe and became its signature mark.
The classics
The roots of the Suede reach back to 1968. The Palermo became popular on the football terraces in the 80s. From 1999 come the Mostro with spikes on the sole and the Speedcat, modelled on fireproof racing driver shoes. Which model suits you is shown by our selection guide for Puma sneakers.
