Saucony Running Shoes
Saucony Running Shoes: Saucony running shoes from the Endorphin range are built for fast running, from tempo training to racing. The models differ mainly in whether and which plate sits in the midsole.
What defines Endorphin
Since 2020, Saucony has grouped its fast models under the name Endorphin. The foundation is usually PWRRUN PB, a lightweight cushioning foam. On top of that comes SPEEDROLL, Saucony's rocker geometry, which is meant to encourage a fluid step forward and faster transitions. The racing shoes additionally feature a slotted carbon plate.
Originals are everyday shoes
ProGrid Omni 9, Guide 7 and Triumph 4 were once running shoes, but today they are reissues for everyday wear. You'll find them under Saucony Sneakers. For an overview of the models along with sizing tips, head to Saucony Shoes.
The Endorphin models
- Endorphin Pro 5: racing shoe with carbon plate, PWRRUN PB and PWRRUN HG
- Endorphin Elite 3: racing shoe with carbon plate and two layers of incrediRUN
- Endorphin Speed 5: training shoe with a redesigned nylon plate and PWRRUN PB
- Endorphin Azura: fast training shoe with no plate at all
- Sizing: for these models, Saucony recommends up to one size larger than your usual shoe size
Which Saucony running shoes suit which run?
For competitions, the Endorphin Pro and Endorphin Elite are built with a carbon plate, and the Endorphin Speed for fast training sessions. The Endorphin Azura is the plateless training shoe for brisk everyday runs.
You can order the right Endorphin online or try it on at the concept store in Cologne.
